is it really already the end of june? no!!!??!?!?!?! why does the summer always go by so fast? we've been out of school just long enough for allie to cry, no scream, when i take her to daycare (i've been trying to take her 2 days a week since i'm having to pay full price and all, but we've been out of town, etc. lately). she normally loves school, so i was surprised at how quickly she got out of the routine and settled into her summer schedule of sleeping late and wanting to do this instead of going to school.
i mean, can you really blame her?
the hour drive is well worth it to hang out in reesie and sugarpop's pool.
no school for me, please, mom!
i know that you don't have to go to work--which is why i've decided to cry and continuously say 'hold you, mama' (translation: mama, hold me) to miss mandy, ms. shonda, and miss shelby all the way until naptime.

thanks for the fun sprinkler ball, reesie. it does the job nicely on days that we can't get over to your pool.
*here i was playing around and kept allie in focus while blurring everything else. is it too much? maybe it looks a little funny.
it's been too long since millie made an appearance on the blog. she told me she was feeling left out.
*funny--allie is WAY into millie these days--well not just these days, she has been for a long time, but lately she is always checking on millie, wanting to know where she is when we're not at home, etc. today on our way to talladega, she kept saying 'where millie mama?' and i would tell her that millie was sleeping in the front seat next to me. so then she said 'mama pat millie' (she's really into patting right now) and i had to pat millie THE WHOLE WAY there. every time i would stop she would yell at me 'MAMA! pat millie!!!". i know i've said it before, but every day brings something new with her. she constantly cracks us up! i wish you all could hear half the things she says and comes up with. life is so much fun with an almost 2 year old!

We need to plan a day at my house! I will take a PTO day and yall can come swim!
